I was thinking about what to post to the blog for Gatsby and randomly thought, "If I could be a character in The Great Gatsby, who would I want to be?" I think I would personally prefer to pick someone who doesn't die, but that might not be true for everyone. If I had to pick one, I think I would be Owl Eyes, simply for the fact that he expresses genuine interest in Gatsby and is fascinated in who he is. Post who you would want to be if you want to.

I would be Jordan. She was athletic, successful, and independent. She stopped seeing Nick because he was being rude and she showed a lot of guts by going off to marry someone else. No, she didn't go to Gatsby's funeral and she wasn't a very developed character, but many of her character traits were respectable.
I'd probably be Gatsby so that one I can live the dream (Even for such a short period of time while practically being deranged) and so that I could go out with a big bang. Also I feel like Gatsby was such a rich character and had such a diverse past that the whole idea of dying at such an early age wouldn't fase me as much considering he's practically already lived a full life aside from Daisy.
