Ok so we all know John Green is awesome, and that the Great Gatsby is awesome and now we have DOUBLE AWESOME!!!! But watching this opened me up to new ideas we hadn't discussed in class and helped me understand parts of the book better. Hope it helps you too.

Ok so other than John's description of Tom as a "lifelong asshat", I also liked how in depth John went about each of the characters and how he touched on points throughout the novel which could be considered as confusing.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite part was how John connectted alot of points back to life today. For examople he refers to how Tom and Daisy with of living was unsubstainable and creates a valley of ashes. He then talks about how we live that way today.
