A perfect day for a movie....

  1. I like the way it said "His Young Wife" at the end. It's as if she's much younger because she doesn't have the same worries Seymour does. We talked about her lack of innocence in class (bananfish), but Muriel is innocent when it comes to war. Seymour can't get his mind of the stress during his time in a war.

  2. I noticed that her side of the room is kind of messy and disjointed, while Seymour's clothing is perfectly neat and folded, and the bed is perfectly made. He also looks like he has the gun ready-to-go, right in between two folded shirts.

I also had not really thought of the child characters in the story as imaginary. It is an interesting interpretation of just how crazy Seymour is when he reaches the point of suicide.

  3. I find it strange that there isn't actually a Sybil character. I think she is much more important to have in a video than the woman in the elevator. Why wouldn't she be there?

    1. I think that's definitely really weird. Maybe the director or whoever made this video thought that Sybil was a figment of Seymour's imagination. However, I don't really agree with this analysis of the story because there was that scene where Sybil is with her mother. So, not only Seymour sees Sybil.
